Michelle Obama was introduced to most Americans when she said that "for the first time in my adult life I am proud of my country" because her country seemed to be in the process of nominating her husband for president. It's hard to imagine a deep patriot mouthing those words under any circumstances, but even if we assume that her statement did not reflect her real views, there are plenty of other red flags that wave all over Michelle and Barack Obama's life.

Michelle Obama guest hosted  "The View" recently. The View version of Michelle  was more palpable than the Michelle we've come to know, but her performance was less than convincing.

She spoke about being a "strong woman" that wears her "heart on her sleeve." Her speech-lets were Hollywood-tailored to redirect the focus of the audience away from her "mean America" declarations.

She was entertaining, and engaging, but overall the "re-packaging" of Mrs. Obama was shallow, transparent, and diametrically opposed to the "heart" she's displayed over the past 18 months.

We've been watching Barack Obama and his surrogates attempt to weather the  Reverend Wright Controversy. They all cite context. For some strange reason Obama and his defenders believe you can stand before an American and call on God to damn America without consequence. No, you can't. The consequence is we close our ears. America will not listen to a man that listens to a man that screams  "God D*** America" in any context.

In a posting this evening, Newsmax.com reports that its correspondent witnessed Sen. Barack Obama attending one of the Rev. Jeremiah Wright's anti-white sermons on July 22 and nodding his head in agreement with the black congregation.

When Oprah and Obama joined forces in 2007 we were excited. What new ideas and innovative solutions would these two interesting minds produce?

When they hit the campaign trail together we looked forward to seeing what would come of this pairing. Never in our wildest dreams did we imagine that this collaboration would produce the show we saw on the campaign trail in South Carolina.

We were looking forward to speeches full of hope and fresh ideas for a stronger, united America. That's not what we got. Racial heritage was the headliner at the Oprah Obama Rally.

Obama passionately recalled the mid-century race riots, rallying the crowd. He spoke of how "they shot us with hoses" and how "they set dogs on us".

Oprah said having Barack Obama as President of the United States would be "living the dream".

"Us against Them" and "We Shall Overcome" were the theme. It was uncomfortable and disturbing.

If I were white and in the crowd I would have quietly backed away.

UPDATE:
Since then we've vetted Barack Obama. Now
that we know him better we understand where he's coming from, and that's enough.

We don't need to know any more about him to know he's not suitable for elected office, not even the one he holds.

Barack Obama repeatedly warns voters that "they" will use skin color to scare white voters. Enough with the race baiting, Senator. White Americans (even the typical) are not nearly as concerned with your skin color as you would like. Not even close.

What we don't like about you is your racist, Marxist, anti-American religion, your terrorist and criminal associations, your ultra-liberal policies, your constant flip-flops, your lack of experience, your denial of your heritage , your elitist statements, your misogyny, your blatant dishonesty, your Marxist Party Ties, your unwillingness to debate, your lack of patriotism, and your wife. Color doesn't even make the list.
